Human Development
We have partnered with Foscon Shipmanagement Inc. (based in Manila), seafarer company, to establish the DTK Maritime Academy, an educational program for seafarers. This collaboration aims to strengthen seafarer education, focusing on compliance, regulatory compliance, and loss prevention as preventive measures to prevent accidents and damages.
DOSSC(Daiichi Tanker Seafarer Safety Convention)
Every year, we hold the Daiichi Tanker Overseas Seafarer Safety Convention (DOSSC) to provide safety education for seafarers and contribute to safe navigation. Our company aims to ensure vessel safety and environmental protection by strictly adhering to legal regulations. To instill this awareness, we provide education on legal compliance within the program. Specifically, efforts are made to deepen understanding of ship safety standards, labor laws, environmental protection laws, etc., and to emphasize the importance of compliance.
During the convention, comprehensive knowledge and skills related to safety are learned, and case studies and discussions based on actual accidents and incidents are conducted. Through these activities, seafarers enhance their safety awareness, develop the ability to recognize dangerous situations, and make appropriate judgments.
